A Speech by Babaji, 1984

Love and serve all humanity.

Assist everyone.

Be happy, be courteous.

Be a dynamo of irrepressible joy.

Recognize God and goodness in every face.

There is no saint without a past and no sinner without a future.

Praise everyone.

If you cannot praise someone, let them out of your life.

Be original, be inventive.

Be courageous.

Take courage again and again.

Do not imitate; be strong, be upright.

Do not lean on the crutches of others.

Think with your own head.

Be yourself.

All perfection and every divine virtue are hidden within you.

Reveal them to the world.

Wisdom, too, is already within you.

Let it shine forth.

Let the Lord's grace set you free.

Let your life be that of the rose; in silence, it speaks the language of fragrance.

‎"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, 'Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?'. Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small doesn’t serve the world. There’s nothing enlightening about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It’s not just in some of us it’s in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our fear, our presences automatically liberates others.”

Life's Journey

As you journey through life,

choose your destination well but do not hurry there.

You will arrive soon enough.

Wander the back roads and forgotten paths,

keeping your destination in your heart,

like a fixed point of a compass.

Seek out new voices, strange sights,

and ideas foreign to your own.

Such things are riches for the soul.

And if, upon arrival you find that your destination

is not exactly as you dreamed,

do not be dissappointed.

Think of all you would have missed but for the journey there,

and know that the true worth of your travels lies

not in the journey's end,

but in whom you come to be along the way.

Going home.............

Well I am about to embark on a trip back home to Cape Town for 10 days! This will be the first time I am apart from my children. One part of me is doing everything to make sure they will be fine while i'm gone, pictures of me next to their beds, extra craft activities so they don't get under dad's feet to much......the other part of me is completely and uttely excited at the wonderful opportunity that i have been give. The chance to see my family, reconnect and talk and share. Also an opportunity for me to step back and regain perspective about my life and perhaps see what I could add more of into my life and what I want less of.

I realise that we are not often if ever blessed with the chance to actually step back and look, listen and reflect, on how our life is progressing as we normally just deal with each day as it presents itself so I plan to enjoy this moment - 10 days and if possible I would love to bottle it up and share it with you as I discover new clues on how to live my life the best way for me.

This I wish for you too! If you cannot get away remember that an hour everyday dedicated to you to enjoy just being is priceless. Why don't you think how you can add that new flavour to your life, how would that make it richer and more rewarding?

Imagine..........

IMAGINE:

There are three mirrors before you; looking in the first one you see a full reflection of yourself. The second mirror has been shattered so what you see now is an abstract version of yourself. The third mirror is fantastic, shiney, and solid, the reflection of yourself as you look into it is exactly what you want to see, feel and be.

The second mirror is shattered and makes your eyes adjust so you see yourself in parts, all the pieces that make up who you are in your own unique way, now today. Not just outside but inside too, physical and emotional aspects. Every movement changes your vision. We are all that amazing and dynamic, but with so many aspects plus the world outside continuously interfering we can lose perspective, direction and focus.
When you choose to act on a thought or a dream, make a decision to alter how your life is, and how you want it to be then you can look forward to mirror three’s vision, a result of your hard work and thereby transformation into exactly what you want to see, feel and be.

What do those words invoke in you? When i wrote it over a year ago I had no idea that it was truely to become my inspirarion and belief for each and every person who has the glimmer of desire to be the best that they can be and with fear and trepidation still decide to go forward and follow that dream.

As your coach I applaud you for the courage of your decision and walk with you on each step towards making those dreams a reality.
